Bio

Amanda Allee currently serves as the Dean of Students. The Office of the Dean of Students administers the student code of conduct, assists students in crisis through the CARE team, and provides services and programs, such as Clyde’s Cupboard and prevention education, that enhance students' education and provide life-enriching experiences.

Amanda joined UCCS in 2008, starting her career in the Office of Student Life and Leadership by supporting Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Clubs, and Student Government. From there, Amanda joined the Office of the Dean of Students, serving previously as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student and Judicial Affairs. Just prior to accepting the Dean of Students position, Amanda served the campus as the Director of Institutional Equity and Title IX Coordinator.

Amanda is a two-time alumna of UCCS having earned her Ph.D. and master’s degree from the UCCS College of Education, and her bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Amanda also serves as a lecturer in the College of Education, having taught both undergraduate and graduate student affairs classes. Amanda’s research interests focus on fostering professional resilience and preventing burnout.
