Heather Allen serves as executive assistant to the Vice Chancellor and Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and as the Logistics Coordinator for the UCCS Det 105 AF-ROTC here at UCCS. Before joining the Division of Student Affairs, Heather worked for University Advancement as a Project/Program Manager, prior to that as the first University Communications intern after working as a student employee for the Campus Facilities department. 

Heather serves as the admin and chair for the UCCS Student Achievement Awards. In this role, she has the privilege of learning more about our amazing UCCS students and working with a committee to pick two recipients of this award. These two outstanding students will then go on to be the Spring Commencement Ceremony student speakers.

As a proud Disabled Army Combat Veteran, Heather spends her spare time volunteering with fellow veterans, speaking at engagements on being a Military Sexual Assault (MST) survivor, and learning more of ways she can give back to her military and local community. Heather also enjoys spending time with her two sons and their dog Porkchop.
